Snowboard the White Powder of the Rockies

Winter Park Colorado offers Snowboarding, Skiing, Snow Tubing, snowshoeing, and a winter wonderland of activities.  Seniors can choose from a variety of winter activities from snowboarding to winter sleigh rides.

Sample Itinerary - 5 Days

Day 1

Your group will arrive in Denver and board a charter bus for the drive to your accommodations at Snow Mountain Ranch near Winter Park, Colorado.  There will be time for fittings of your ski or snowboarding equipment before the day closes with dinner at the lodge.

Day 2

This morning, the group will depart for Winter Park Ski Resort, a short drive from your accommodations.  You will enjoy a full day of downhill skiing or snowboarding, and you will also have opportunities to check out some of the shops in Winter Park’s resort area.  Following dinner you will have some free time.  (Ski lift tickets are included in your trip price, but lessons and equipment rentals are not included.)

Day 3

The group will return to the slopes today for a second day of skiing and snowboarding.  The day will close with dinner and free time at your hotel.

Day 4

This morning you can try your skills at some of the many outdoor activities on the 5,100 acres of the adjacent Arapaho National Forest.  (Some of these optional activities are not included in the price of the trip.)  Later, you might choose to warm up at the heated pool in the ranch's recreation center.  The afternoon will allow for a number of options, including the facility's fitness center, basketball and volleyball courts, climbing wall, roller skating rink, and more.  Before dinner the group will take a quick shuttle to the tubing hill where you will slide down a 400 yard iced snow slide.  What a Rush!!!

Day 5

Before departing for home, the group will spend the morning in service activities in Denver.  The service could include feeding the homeless or sorting supplies for a homeless center.  These activities will round out your fun-filled trip to Colorado!
