On this school trip to Hollywood California, students will learn about the history and culture of film.  Hollywood is the center of the entertainment industry, with a rich history that started with the Golden Age, the dawn of the movie industry, and its current global phenomenon.  On this tour, students will see how the entertainment industry started and where it is currently going by experiencing a backstage VIP tour to some of the most amazing movie production sets and museums.  This program is geared towards inspiring the next generation of film and arts students to use their gifts to change the world through film.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 • Fly to Los Angeles

Arrive in Los Angeles and have a team orientation in the City of Angels.

Day 2 • Take a Backstage Tour of Warner Brothers

This Studio Tour at Warner Brothers brings you as close as possible to the action and production in a real studio. Students will also experience many sound stages where TV shows and movies are made. Many times there is actual filming being done while on this tour.

Day 3 • Natural History Museum and La Brae Tar Pits

Take a backstage tour of the Los Angeles Natural History Museum.  Learn how the film industry uses dinosaur animatronics for shows like those on the Discovery Channel.  Later you will explore the natural wonders at the La Brea Tar Pits.

Day 4 • Experience Universal Studios Hollywood

Take in an action-packed entertainment adventure all in one day:  thrilling theme park rides and shows, see a real working movie studio, take in awesome shops and entertainment.  Universal Studios Hollywood is an amazing adventure for all students.

Day 5 • Head Home

After an exciting and educational journey your group will head home.
