Day 1

Your group will arrive in the Bahamas and head to its hotel for a quick orientation before exploring downtown Nassau.  You can visit local stores and historical sites, or you may want to go to a Pirate Museum to learn about the history of the Bahamas.  After dinner, the group will return to the hotel for the night.

Day 2

Following breakfast your group will be transported to the service project, where you will work with a local organization that provides services to the communities of Nassau.  Lunch will be enjoyed at the service site, and then you will continue your service throughout the afternoon.  In the evening you will head back to downtown Nassau to shop and visit Bahamas historical sites.

 Day 3

This morning your group will depart for a day of snorkeling.  The excursion begins with a cruise of beautiful clear waters on a triple deck catamaran.  You can later relax on the beach, snorkel over coral reefs, or explore the island’s winding paths and tidal pools.  Here your guide will teach about coral reef ecology and symbiotic relationships found in this unique eco-system.  In the afternoon you will enjoy lunch at a privateer resort, after which you may want to stretch out in a hammock under a palm tree or enjoy the various water activities that are offered as options to visitors.  Your group will head back to the hotel in the evening to freshen up before enjoying dinner and a little free time in town.

Day 4

The morning will begin early with a trip to Paradise Island for a day full of fun activities at the beach and some time for shopping!  You will start the day with amazing dolphin encounters, then head out to the beaches.  Your guide will teach about marine mammals and their unique niche in this marine environment.  At Paradise Island you will find family-oriented beaches, as well as unique shops and sites that you might want to visit.  Your group may want to add on the Atlantis Water Park journey during this phase of the trip.  There will be time to take photos at the famous Atlantis Resort, and you can enjoy fresh fruit juice or ice cream while you shop the unique items of Paradise Island.
