Lindsey Little

Service-Learning Leader

Even at a very young age I had adventure in my blood. I was fortunate enough to have parents with an appreciation for history and brave enough to venture with all the kids in our wood paneled wagon across the United States for some hands on learning. Since then I have been able to take many service trips across the country, which allowed me to see the real needs of the people and ways in which I could help. In 2007 I decided to move to New Zealand and work with a non-profit organization to further my education in cultural studies as well as the opportunity to travel around the world, see the needs first hand, and develop ways in which we could best bring hope into their situations.  I’ve been honored to lead and work with some amazing teams of people through about 30 different countries. I have led student programs across the globe and love educating groups about an area’s history, culture, or science as well as inspiring the students to think about how they can make a difference, both while traveling and when they get back home. I deeply enjoy being able to walk alongside every group as we learn how to love ourselves, each other, and the world through revealing the value of history, education, science, an individual’s gifts, service, and adventure! There is nothing on this earth more rewarding than being a part of something that I truly believe in.
