On this Appleseed Expeditions school history trip, students will learn about the Civil War through reenactment programs. Civil War Reenactment is one of the fastest growing hobbies in the United States, and with good reason.  Not only does it reinforce our sense of pride in our heritage, but it helps students understand the war from an individual in time perspective.  Students will rent outfits, stay with units and participate in mock battles in the Shenandoah Valley.  From here students will head north and take a guided tour of the Gettysburg battlefield.cial injustice and promote global conservation.
